Ever dreamed of a better, healthier version of you?

Perhaps you would have if you were able to get a goods night's sleep.  We can help you with that!  Introducing our "Sleep Well Be Well Workshop"...

Would you like to learn simple tips to get to sleep faster, stop waking at 4 am or to rise in the morning feeling more refreshed and energised?

If you said “Yes!”, you’re not alone. We are facing a sleep deficit epidemic – with only a third of us getting the recommended 7-9 hours sleep a night.

Elephants may only need 4 hours sleep a night, but we definitely need more! Lack of sleep has been shown to lead to weight gain, inflammation, type 2 diabetes, increased risk of heart disease and other chronic life-limiting illnesses.

This sounds like a wellbeing nightmare – but the good news is many sleep issues can be settled with simple diet, fitness and lifestyle habits. And our Sleep Well & Be Well workshop could be a wellness light bulb moment for you, helping to transform your energy, focus, mood and long term health outcomes.

SLEEP WELL NATURALLY

Drawing on their in depth knowledge of Nutrition and Pilates, Ali Prentice and Rachel Lawrence will share practical food, fitness and lifestyle tips designed to coach you to a better night’s sleep.

Quality sleep can have the biggest single influence on your mood, motivation and mental performance. And there’s strong evidence sleep enriches learning, memory, creativity, emotional stability, immune function, tissue repair, blood glucose control, controls appetite and body weight… and much more.

SLEEP SMART EXERCISE AND RELAXATION

Maybe you get very tired, but are too wired to sleep properly? Backed by the most recent studies into exercise and sleep Rachel will reveal what is the right type of exercise and when to do it in order to get the best possible sleep.

Whilst there have only been a handful of studies into exercise and sleep, one thing that has become very clear is that regular exercise does significantly improve the sleep of people with chronic insomnia. Rachel will guide you on how to move, what could be the best time of day to do what type of exercise in order to sleep well - and what is the best night time routine to help you get a good night's sleep. Rachel will share her exercise knowledge as well as her wellbeing wisdom on how to induce a great night’s sleep through exercise and relaxation..

She’ll also share a simple mindfulness/relaxation technique you can use for yourself at home.

During our 2¼ hour workshop you’ll also get these goodies:
