So what will happen, how will this work?

When you book a class, we will send you an email invitation with details of the Zoom session.  You can either open this on your home PC or your mobile.  Just click on the link next to “How” in the email and you will be taken to a new page where you will either be asked to download or launch Zoom, depending on whether you have used Zoom before.  If you are on your mobile, you will have the option to download an app.  You can click here for Apple devices or here for Android devices.

Once Zoom starts, you can check the audio and for those of you with a webcam, check your video.  You don’t need to show your video during the session, but if you do it will help with any corrections as I will be able to see you and guide you just as I would in class, but over the internet! It will also mean you will be visible to the rest of the class too, so if you know your class and want to socialise whilst in isolation this will be a great way to stay connected. I will open the 'meeting' 10 minutes before class begins so we can check sound, check that you can see me and I you, and say hello.  Once the session starts, I will mute all the microphones to avoid any background noise, and then open them up at the end of the session, where we can all have a chat about how it went! You will be free to leave the class at anytime and I will close the 'meeting 10 minutes after we finish. Think of it as if I am locking up the studio until the next session!

There is a short video you can view here which will show you what to do. And I suggest you do a test ahead of your session by clicking here.
